Help Qayvion Tour in China
with the Georgia Boy Choir
One of the most wonderful aspects of being a member of the Georgia Boy Choir is the opportunity to go on tour and share our music with folks from other parts of the world. Over the years the Choir has gone to China, England, Denmark Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and throughout the United States. Opportunities like these allow us to expand our horizons, learn about different cultures and traditions, and perhaps most importantly, to learn to see others as more alike to us than different.
In May of this year, I will be traveling with the 30 other members of the Georgia Boy Choir on a two-week concert tour to China. We will be singing in major concert halls in Beijing, Shenyang, Xushou, Jinan, Shanghai, and Kunshan. Along the way we will have opportunities to try some exotic foods, see the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace, and climb the Great Wall!
Opportunities like these are invaluable, but they are also very expensive. Total cost of the tour to China is just over $4500.
I am working hard to help raise as much of that money as possible. If I can find 50 people to donate $100 each, then I will raise enough for my tour, plus be able to help a few of my fellow choristers as well.
Would you please consider being one of my donors? Giving is easy. Just use the link below and you can give whatever amount you choose to give. All donations are tax-deductible and any amount helps.
Thank you for your support.
